This will ensure that you have a working version of the directory structure before changes are made. To take a backup of your directory structure, you can use the “tar” command. This command will create an archive file that contains everything inside a specified directory path.

In order to take a backup of the directory structure, use the following command:

tar -cf mybackup.tar /path/to/directory

This command will create an archive file named mybackup.tar of the content of the specified directory. With this backup available, you can safely and securely make changes to your directory structure.

By making use of commands such as sed and tar, you can perform a comprehensive replacement of codes across all necessary paths and directories. This will help you operate more smoothly and efficiently.
