My Experience Using MSSQL Was Disappointing

As a developer, I find myself working with different databases on a regular basis. Recently, I decided to give Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) a try, but my experience was far from optimistic.

At first, the installation seemed to go smoothly. But soon after I started using it, I ran into some major problems. The first issue was with the query language. Even though I was familiar with other databases, I still had a hard time understanding the SQL syntax and commands. For example, the order in which commands are executed isn’t always clear, and certain elements of the language can be confusing. As a result, it took me a long time to get the system up and running.

The second problem was with the user interface. The design of the console wasn’t user-friendly or intuitive, so I had to spend even more time figuring out how to use the system. Additionally, I had a hard time locating information on troubleshooting and best practices. It seemed like the resources available weren’t helpful or sufficient.

Finally, I had trouble setting up the security protocols, because the process was complicated and lengthy. I wasn’t able to complete the setup within the allotted amount of time.

Overall, my experience with MSSQL was disappointing. I found the language difficult to understand and the user interface outdated and clunky. I was also frustrated by the security protocols and how long it took to set them up. Although I’m sure that someone with more SQL experience would have had a better experience, I couldn’t help but feel discouraged.
